Dear Arch Stanton,
I don't digest the Worldly Dharma Lite very well, so I never read the Tricycle. But I get the idea that you and your allies have chosen yourself some kind of protector role on the Dark Age Dharma scene/screen. I suppose it is worth supporting, even if most articles on your web site don't quite remind me of the real "Light Phenomena of Dharma" either. They are just critical and opposed. But thanks anyway.
Yours,
Diana Palmer
Dear Diana,
Thank you for your letter. While I appreciate and respect your point in general, I would like to point out that none of the Damtsig writers enjoy their role of being opposed and critical. The main point as far as most of us are concerned is that unless someone speaks out, nothing will be said. Maybe what I state, or what our other writers state, could be expressed more effectively or less "oppositionally" - but we do our best with who we are and how we best articulate our defense of the role of vajra master. There is always room for others to write, and if you would care to contribute, we would be happy to publish a piece written in an alternative style.
